BMW Park Distance Control

Park Distance Control (PDC) makes it easier to drive and manoeuvre backwards in tight spaces: the proximity of obstacles is indicated acoustically, as well as visually in the Control Display. When the obstacle comes to within 30 cm of the car, the tone becomes constant, signifying that the driver should brake.
