With Remote Software Upgrade, you receive free quality improvements over-the-air. You could also receive new functions or functional improvements free of charge, if and when available, depending on the country, vehicle model, equipment and vehicle condition.

The Remote Software Update is only available for the markets with ConnectedDrive.

ADVANCED VIDEO FUNCTIONS IN THE MY BMW APP.

In the My BMW App, you can use the Remote Inside View function to record a five or ten-second video of the vehicle interior. You can then access this recording in the My BMW App.

If your vehicle has an alarm system, a ten-second video of the vehicle interior is also recorded after the alarm system is triggered, which you can view in the My BMW App.

NEW OPTION FOR CLOSING THE TAILGATE.

In addition to pressing a button to close the tailgate automatically, there is now a new option. Pull the tailgate down manually approximately 10 centimetres. From there, the closing function takes over and the tailgate closes automatically.
